Who Am I?

‘Abode on the other Side’

For keeps, with nonstop beeps

for months, years and days,

Life takes all to chase flitting maze,

and finally end up in vain and daze.

Afterlife is totally unsure

For this life, we are stanned

But alas! Finally, we all go to a land

of lurking fear and obscure.

What is then, better between life and death!

And why to base in this liminal space

 and breathe!

Beeping in bosom, my buddy, my life key,

you constantly keep remind that to me.

But I’m wretch, busy only to fetch,

And steadily push away thee.

Always nodded no, your call had basis though

and I knew the nemesis for sure.

Refusing to fall asleep, the babies cry,

not to leave friends and toy.

But when the baby sleep,

eye lids stand still and deep.

What a relief! What a peace!

What an exemption and ease!

Gone are the toys!

Gone are playmates and noise.

No more looking for them,

no more asking for any gem.

My love has elapsed to the land of nectar,

leaving all optical specter.

In my thorax, you throb and sit,

with all your kit.

Crooning ceaseless dit, with every beat.

“Let’s return my love, where you will ever bide.

Here in this cage, whatever you chase;

Are all mirage, elusive and maze.

Your abode isn’t here Honey, it’s on the other side’.
